Tesla Begins Retail Production of Cybertruck Ahead of Release Date
The highly anticipated Cybertruck is one step closer to hitting the roads. According to reports, Tesla has already started retail production of the Cybertruck in preparation for customer deliveries. They are set to begin on November 30. But that’s not all – the company is also conducting final tests at its Giga Texas facility to ensure the truck’s quality and performance.
New and Improved Gigacastings Spotted at Giga Texas
During a recent overflight of the Gigafactory in Texas, eagle-eyed observer Joe Tegtmeyer spotted something interesting – new and improved Cybertruck gigacastings. These front casts are believed to be destined for the first batch of Cybertruck deliveries to select buyers. According to Joe’s sources at the factory, “customer production of Cybertruck began earlier this week.”
It’s no surprise that Tesla is ramping up production, considering the grand launch event scheduled at Giga Texas on November 30. The company wants to ensure that the initial batches of its first electric pickup are flawless and free from any issues. After all, nobody wants a repeat of the Model Y trunk water leakage problem. It required a second Service Bulletin and a different sealant to fix.
Water-Resistance Trials and New Wheel Cover Design
In an effort to avoid any potential water leakage issues, the Cybertruck has been undergoing rigorous water-resistance trials at a dedicated test chamber. Tesla is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the truck is ready to tackle any weather conditions.
But that’s not the only exciting discovery from Joe’s overflight footage. He also spotted a new wheel cover design for the Cybertruck. These black wheel covers feature faux steel spokes and silver edges, perfectly complementing the truck’s sleek black top and stainless steel body.
With each new detail that emerges, the anticipation for the Cybertruck’s release continues to grow. Tesla fans and electric vehicle enthusiasts can’t wait to get their hands on this groundbreaking pickup.
Get Ready for the Cybertruck
If you’re as excited as we are about the Cybertruck, make sure to mark November 30 on your calendar. It’s going to be a day to remember as Tesla officially unveils its revolutionary electric pickup. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to experience the future of transportation.
